*will travel for mediations*

Beginning his law career in 1999 at a practice with his father, Sean has over 25 years of experience on both the plaintiff and defense side of workers’ comp. He joined Prism full time in 2018 and says “I have never second guessed my decision. Since joining Prism, I have grown so much as a mediator and person.”

Sean brings adaptability and a keen sense of “reading the room” to every mediation he’s a part of.

“Every mediation is different, as every injured worker and attorney are different. Sometimes humor helps lighten the mood, other times, its patience and allowing the injured worker the opportunity to tell their story and the struggles they've experienced since their injury. On the defense side, its allowing the attorney or their client to similarly vent their frustrations at a sometimes frustrating system.”

Sean’s passions are evident any chance you get to talk with him: fishing and cooking. He kayak fishes all the way from Louisiana to Kentucky to Florida and makes the best corn and crab bisque from his own fresh-caught crabs. (Our team asks for it all the time!) During the fall, he can talk for hours about LSU and Saints Football, and any time of the year, his pride and joy is his daughter, Rowan, named after Rowan Mayfair— a character from the Anne Rice book The Witching Hour.
