When it comes to the seasons of life, we seem to struggle more with letting go of old tools and picking up new ones that function more appropriately in the new seasons we enter.

We think a lot about “ROI” in business. But I fear we’ve taken this “ROI” mentality into the real world both unnecessarily and to our detriment.

Most definitely, I hope you and others are doing well, but in addition, I hope we are all doing good where and how we can.

There’s no way to discover something new if we aren’t brave enough to question the status quo and consider letting go of the old. After so long in the water, we no longer know it’s water.

All day long our attention is divided, and in the type of work we do— helping people find clarity in the midst of confusion and make big decisions to move forward in their lives— this distractability could be costing us.
