Team Spotlight: Meet Sean

Chances are, you already know Sean and have likely mediated several cases with him.

But did you know he’s our only team member born out of the country? Or that he’s a big Girl Dad?

Up next in our Team Spotlight series is the second mediator to join our team, Sean Rastanis. Sean joined Prism in 2018 and has been a huge asset to our growth and expansion since then. He brings decades of experience as a former defense attorney and now has hundreds, if not thousands, of mediations under his belt as well.

Read on to learn some new things about Sean!

Where were you born?

I was born in Panama City, Panama. I was raised in Prairieville, Louisiana. Interesting Fact: My great great Uncle, Arnulfo Arias, was the duly elected President of Panama. He was removed from office on three occasions in military coups. His wife, Mireya Moscoso, later became the first and only female president of Panama.

What’s the most exotic or unique place you’ve visited?

After college I went to Belize with my parents and we stayed on a very small island. The water was amazing. We went there for a scuba diving trip.

First car:

1980 Plymouth Champ. What a piece of crap it was. LOL

What are you most likely to be found doing when you’re not at work?

Fishing of course! Or if its my weekend with Rowan, carpooling her around everywhere.

Song you love to sing in the car:

Safety Dance. It has to be the Safety Dance. Because you can dance if you want to and leave your friends behind, and if they don't dance well then they're no friends of mine.

Favorite food:

Fried chicken. I could eat it almost every day. I know its boring but soooo good.

Comfort TV show:

Wicked Tuna. I love watching these guys trolling for big bluefin tuna. No plot, just catching big fish.
