Meet Jimmy Hollier

Warm, sincere, kind, and down-to-earth are all words that come to mind when you think of Jimmy Hollier (“oh-yay.”)

After graduating from the University of Louisiana Lafayette (Geaux Cajuns!) Jimmy attended LSU Law School and began practicing in 1991. His practice areas have included the Defense of General Casualty, Workers’ Compensation, Automobile and Maritime Claims, and while his expertise and experience are great strengths in the mediation room, his most valuable skillset is in his ability to relate and help people feel comfortable as they make big decisions.

On mediation, Jimmy says, “I attended my first mediation about 32 years ago, and I was fascinated with the process. I’m still fascinated. I’m a huge fan of it because I know it works. I’ve seen the benefit that my clients get from it. It’s just a wonderful process because it allows the parties to a mediation to decide their fate, instead of a judge or jury.”

Jimmy is a proud Ragin’ Cajun and father of two, grandfather of one. He’s been married to his wife, René, for 34 years, and you can find him at the hunting camp, riding his four-wheeler, or hitting the gym when he’s not at work.
